Master. 1,586 Answers. 99% of the time it's the combination switch (the column switch assembly that houses the turn signal stalk and the headlight stalk). They're not designed extremely well and are a known failure area on the A4, which I believe shares the stalk with the A6. If it's the stalk, it's about an hour long job yourself to change it
Touran Cruise control not working – 15-04-2008, 07:59 AM. The cruise control of my 2004 touran is not workin. When I turn the switch to on, the indicator light does not turn on, and nothing happens when I press the + or - keys. Tested both at low and high speeds.

Lookes at the wiring on the sensors and right side had broken wire, fixed but issue still present. May have to replace the connectora.
